Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has said one hundred thousand Digital Franchise Post Offices will be established across the country to provide better services to the people.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said seven hundred and fifty Digital Franchise Post Offices have already been established to access the far flung areas and compete with the private sector.
He said the establishment of more Digital Franchise Post Offices will provide employment and business opportunities to the youth.
Murad Saeed said we have started electronic money order, Urgent Mail Service and Tracking services.
He said a logistics company of Pakistan Post will also be established which will further bolster its revenue.
He said Pakistan Post has been steered out of deficit because of innovative steps taken over the last three years.
