13 Pakistani universities were included in the recently released QS World University Rankings for 2023, with the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad ranking first among 1,500 universities worldwide.
NUST Islamabad is ranked 334th, Quaid-i-Azam University is ranked 363rd, and the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) is ranked 390th. Only three Pakistani universities made the top 500 QS World University Rankings.
