Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the groundwork for Nathia Gali’s first five-star hotel. According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the hotel would be built on property held by the Galiyat Development Board and leased to the local entertainment businesses.
The apartments will be developed and managed by a US conglomerate that operates a global hotel network.
Meanwhile, the renowned hotel will join the South Asian country following four decades of government-friendly measures to encourage foreign investment.
The premium hotel is expected to cost $25 million, and it will also offer work for residents of Abbottabad and its neighboring districts.
Domestic tourism has grown in recent years, and the establishment of a 5-star hotel in Nathia Gali will add to the industry’s interest.
