The wreath-laying event was attended by people from all walks of life, government and military leaders, and Shuhada’s family members.
In 1948, Naik Saif Ali bravely defended the vital Pir Kaleva Ridge against repeated attacks.
He ensured the defense of the nation while inspiring his warriors to battle to the bitter end.
On October 26, 1948, he decided to become a martyr.
