TikTok, the famous quick video streaming site, may soon become popular for longer video versions as well since the business is allegedly experimenting with video duration limits and will most likely increase them to 5 minutes or longer.
The portal had previously increased the video duration restriction to 3 minutes in December 2020. According to Pocket-lint, this time restriction may be increased to a considerably longer period of time. Aside from the publishing, social media strategist Matt Navarra hinted in a latest Twitter tweet that the restriction might be raised again.
Navarra has posted a screenshot of a TikTok feature that allows him to create films of up to 5 minutes in length. Some other users have also got the same notice. The social media site appears to be experimenting with the new function with its users, with just a limited few receiving the message.
So keep your applications up to date, since you may be the next lucky person to receive the TikTok notice. The notice that customers are seeing says, “Upload up to 5-minute videos from your device. Before you try out the functionality on your app or tiktok.com, ensure you’re running the most recent version of TikTok.”
Conversely, some Twitter users have claimed that the app has offered them the opportunity to post films with a duration restriction of 10 minutes, implying that the service may soon expand the video length limit to 10 minutes.
According to sources, the new restriction will be handed out to all customers in the coming days.
Furthermore, further improvements to the program are likely to emerge shortly, including TikTok tales, which were predicted earlier this month. TikTok stories will be formatted similarly to Snapchat and Instagram.
TikTok has also partnered with Shopify, enabling users to purchase items instantly from the mobile app. Businesses will be able to add a retail page to their TikTok accounts, permitting them to display their items and link to their web storefronts for payment, thanks to this cooperation.
