Zahab Kamal Khan, a professional squash player from Karachi who now lives in the United States, has achieved a Guinness World Record for the most hair given by an individual.’
The 30-year-old announced the news to her social media fans, uploading a photo of herself clutching a long train of hair in her palm. “Most hair is given by an individual!” she captioned the photo. “I’m donating 5 feet 1 inch of hair to children suffering from hair loss. My father’s concept altered my life, and our 18-year dream became a reality. Today, I possess a Guinness World Record “She stated.
“Today, I am overjoyed to be working with Children With Hairloss and thankful to know that my hair will benefit children. I’d also want to thank all of my sponsors and contributors for their help!” Khan stated.
WJLA, a Washington, DC-based magazine and television station, also reported on Khan’s Guinness World Record achievement.
The Washington Post previously covered Khan’s journey to the final trim, highlighting how she had been growing her hair for 17 years.
The post says she was 13 when she was advised by her father Mustafa Kamal Khan to spread it. Her dad would stand out for long hair and perhaps achieve a Guinness World Record for her.
Khan already has a ‘Most Hair Clips in the Head’ Guinness World Record. In August, she used 1,100 clips to set the global record.
