Reporter Chand Nawab, whose video once went viral throughout the subcontinent, has gained popularity on social media after declaring plans to sell his classic “Karachi se log apnon mein Eid” video as a digital asset.
“My name is Chand Nawab, and I work as a journalist. In 2008, a video of mine was uploaded to YouTube. I’m talking to the crowds and mayhem that gathered at the railway station on Eid. Several times during this, I had to come to a halt since people were constantly approaching. “This constant interruption has made this video popular, and it is now being auctioned,” Nawab said in his statement.
The movie is being sold as a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) via the Foundation App’s live auction, with minimum bids set at 20 ETH or PKR 11 million.
