Pakistan won three medals in the first Asian Mixed Martial Arts Championship 2021 in Kyrgyzstan: gold, silver, and bronze.
Shahzaib Khan won the gold medal for Pakistan, while Liaqat Ali won the silver medal and Allah Gul Afridi won the bronze medal. For the first time, Pakistan competed in the Asian Championship.
Despite the fact that the squad was anticipated to compete in full force, the national federation was obliged to make a symbolic gesture due to a shortage of funds.

President Zulfiqar Ali praised the performers for putting the Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation (PMMAF) prideful at the Asian Championships.
“PMMAF will move ahead and make every effort to achieve maximum participation in all future events,” Zulfiqar stated.
The 2021 World MMA Championship is scheduled to take place in December of this year. “This feat of the players was also enthusiastically appreciated by the Pakistani MMA community,” he stated.
