Websites develop the integrity and the trust a brand yearns from a consumer. Transitioning into a modern, more digital world, websites have become a necessity. For an instance, even large organizations such as Apple and Microsoft have their own respective websites. So for a fact, to survive in a modern and digital world, a brand needs a website. However, good websites have become very much rare within societies. As a result, websites are mostly designed on themes, same designs and no innovation. Contrary to that, some websites are very much inspiring, innovative and modern, such as the website of United Lifestyle designed and developed by Digital Otters.
Websites being the culmination of small details, design, structure, content and all that is a very complex artefact. Observing how a website, falls into the category of innovation nowadays is not only colours and content, but animations, design and idea behind the project. The website of United Lifestyle has a very modern touch, being the first animated and innovative real-estate website of Pakistan, it is a step towards innovative websites in the country.
Digital Otters, breaking the norms of web design and development through this real estate website have done a great job. Rather than using the cliché of themes and simple white colours, Digital Otters opted for a dark and minimal user interface. Moreover, it was supported with immensely beautiful animations.
Website Design Review
As we open the website, it fades into a beautiful video of the real estate project, followed by small content descriptions stitched beautifully within the crafted web design. Following the normal content parts, we see a fragment of the project building transitioning out of its specific section. As a result, showing a good modern touch of breaking the section barriers and merging content.
Quite a beautiful end to the home page, with a minimal footer. Moreover, if we hover into the internal pages, we observe asymmetry among the hero sections of each page. A magnificent rotating logo animation with the title of the page and descriptions below.
Furthermore, on the about us page, we see a very different minimal user interface. The merging and overlapping of images along with indented content morphed into each other really well. However, the end of the page with that sliding text was far beyond excellence and something very new to observe on a Pakistani website.
Moving over to the main landing page of the project, the hero section starts with a video and an inquiry form. A great way to start a landing page, scrolling below we observe beautifully curated content merged with proper sections. However, the offering sections were pretty neat and innovative, the 3D-Renders and especially the hotspots for highlighting info on penthouses was admiring.
Website Development Review
Highlighting the fact that designs are not what makes a website successful, but the structure and the quality of development. Observing the United Lifestyle website, we saw that the website was very well structured. Not just the content and images being optimized but the animations being used very systematically.
Analyzing the quality of content and images, it was clear that optimization was done on a deep insightful scale. As the website open to a video, it is really hard to keep the speed of the website minimal. Digital Otters have successfully formalized the website with a video while keeping the speed of the website uncompromised.
As for the internal pages and the animations we observe, the loading speed made it really amazing. Despite such unique and innovative animations among the content, the uncompromised loading speed portrays the quality of development.

After such a close review of the website, we observed other works of Digital Otters as well. Each of the websites they have created has significant quality of optimization and speed. Not just the User Interface but the development quality is noteworthy. It has been a treat to the eyes to watch such beautiful and innovative websites being developed within Pakistan. We must give Digital Otters the due share of their sheer hard work and innovation.
