The United Kingdom (UK) has announced 75 million pounds in aid to the people of Afghanistan.
The announcement came at a meeting of G7 foreign secretaries in Liverpool in which they discussed the global conflict situations, including Afghanistan.
According to a statement by British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, the aid is aimed at supporting 1.8 million Afghans with life-saving drugs, emergency health services, shelter, water, hygiene services and food.
