Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan will continue to support important global priorities like combating social and economic inequality. Because Pakistan is a member of International Labour Organization (ILO)

FM Shah Mahmood Qureshi was talking to South Korea’s candidate for Director General, International Labor Organization Kang Kyung-wha. She called on the Foreign Minister in Islamabad on Friday.

The Foreign Minister said the COVID-19 pandemic adversely affected the employees, workers and employers globally. And now a fair developmental financing and vaccine equity will help revive the global economy.     

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed the hope that as an experienced female candidate from Asia Pacific region, South Korea’s candidate for Director General, International Labor Organization (ILO) Kang Kyung-wha will be a strong and impressive candidate for ILO (International Labour Organization) leadership.                            

South Korea’s candidate for Director General ILO, Kang Kyung-wha thanked Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi for his words of appreciation.
