The World Bank (WB) on Friday approved the release of $435 million in loan for Pakistan.
According to the statement issued by the WB, the amount will be spent on building housing schemes for the people belonging to low-income groups as well as on Punjab Urban Land System project as well as on Punjab Housing Programme.
Out of the total sum to be released, $85 million will be meant for Pakistan Housing Finance project; $150 million for Punjab Urban Land System project and $200 million for Punjab Housing project.
