Pakistanis in the southern Sindh province are celebrating Pakistan Day this year with cakes decorated in the national colors of white and green and photos of the nation’s founding father Muhammad Ali Jinnah, with the famous Black and Brown Bakers in Hyderabad taking the lead in preparing customized confectionary.
March 23 is celebrated annually in Pakistan to commemorate the adoption of the Lahore Resolution in 1940 which called for the creation of an independent sovereign state for the Muslims of India.
