LONDON, — Mohammad Rizwan, a wicketkeeper-batsman from Pakistan, has signed a contract with Sussex County to play in the 2022 Country Championship and T20 Blast.
The star-studded batter will make his debut against Derbyshire on Thursday.
In a video posted on Twitter, the country confirmed Rizwan’s participation. In the footage, the Pakistani batsman can be seen traveling to his first training session.
“Assalam-o-Alaikum to everyone, this is Mohammad Rizwan and I am really happy with the Sussex family, can’t wait to start, see you soon guys [on the field],” Rizwan said in another video.
