Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, the Chief of the Naval Staff, traveled to Sydney for the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference in 2022.
The conference concentrated on common goals in the Indo-Pacific maritime domain of the twenty-first century, emphasizing the need for joint work on maritime security and ecosystems.
More than 40 naval delegations and 700 defense companies attended the conference.
The Naval Chief met with his counterparts from Australia, France, Japan, Kuwait, and Spain on the sidelines of the conference to discuss matters of common interest and bilateral maritime cooperation.
According to a Pakistan Navy spokesman, the visit of the Naval Chief would strengthen the bilateral collaboration among participating countries’ navies for regional and global maritime security.
