The conference will provide an opportunity for renowned businessmen, agriculturists, and IT experts to present recommendations on the IT, Agriculture, Textile, Business, and Export sectors.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will address the conference and would be the chief guest.

Pakistan is plagued with several economic challenges, including accelerating inflation, large external deficits, exchange rate depreciation, declining foreign exchange reserves, and mounting uncertainty. Additionally, the prevailing global economic situation is also posing risks to the domestic economic outlook.

The government’s press release stated that “it is the vision of the prime minister of Pakistan to make a progressive, development and people-friendly budget by fostering public participation in budget making.”

According to the statement, the government aims for an “inclusive pro-public budget that will steer the economy onto a higher, sustainable and inclusive growth path.”

The federal budget is being developed and will be presented in the National Assembly on 10 June. Meanwhile, the PM envisions making a progressive, developing, and people-friendly budget by fostering public participation in budget-making.

As a result, the government is collaborating with the business sector to ensure that the budget represents the expectations of the private/commercial sector as well as the general public.

The private sector is the backbone of the economy, and both the public and private sectors have the chance to contribute to the economy’s development.
