On Tuesday, the PKR rupee increased its gains in the interbank market for the third day in a row, reaching 238 compared to the dollar.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan, the local currency rose 84 paise by 10:33 am from its previous closing price of 238.84.
Overall, since Friday, the PKR has increased by around Rs2 in the interbank market. It increased by 57 rupees on Friday and 53 rupees during this week’s first session.
The local currency has been falling steadily before that since July 16.
