Pakistan’s men’s cricket team captain, Worlds #1 Batsman Babar Azam, on Sunday, was conferred with the Sitara-e-Pakistan award. On the occasion of the country’s 75th Independence Day, the government has given him the honour, which stands third in the hierarchy of civilian awards in the country. Babar is one of the best batters the world has ever seen.
Babar Azam is one of the best batters in Pakistan’s cricket team history, Babar currently sits at the top of the rankings in both ODI and T20I cricket. In fact, he is the only cricketer in world cricket at the moment who is in the top-three list in all three formats of the game. With 879 rating points to his name, he is the third best Test batter at the moment as well.
Babar is the captain of Pakistan’s men’s cricket team in all three formats of the game at present and is currently in Netherlands with the Pakistan Cricket team.
