PAF (Pakistan Air Force) is conducting relief and rescue operations in the flood-affected areas of South Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan. In the past 24 hours, one thousand cooked food packets, twenty-five tents and 2090 pounds of ration have been distributed by the teams. The distribution was done mainly in the areas that were hit by flash floods and torrential rains.
The respective branches of PAF are directed by Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, for maximum efforts toward rescue and relief. Day and night work is being performed to provide medical assistance to the affected people by the field medical camps of PAF, as per the instruction of the air chief.
