Ayesha Ayaz, a teenage taekwondo player from Pakistan, won two medals at the Taekwondo International Championship being held in Thailand.
Ayesha, 11, made history when she achieved the amazing achievement of winning two gold medals, a silver medal, and a bronze medal in Taekwondo contests abroad.
Lt Col Waseem Ahmed Janjua, president of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation (PTF), and secretary Murtaza Hassan Bangash congratulated the young athlete on her outstanding triumph and said that Ayesha is a valuable asset to the nation and will continue to bring honor to it in the years to come.
Ayesha Ayaz is the talented player and coach Ayaz Naik’s daughter, and he also acted as her coach during the competition. He extended his gratitude to everyone who helped the young athlete, particularly the PTF, whose backing, he claimed, made Ayesha’s training possible.
“We can increase the country’s prestige in the sphere of sports on an international level if we encourage the top performing children like Ayesha at this age,” he stated.
