In order to provide Sehat Insaf Card holders with access to standard medical care, the Punjabi government has decided to expand the list of hospitals on the panel.
Details indicate that Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi called a meeting where it was determined to strengthen the Health Card program’s extension.
In order to better serve the residents of the province, the meeting approved adding more hospitals to the health card panel. The cyberknife, a cutting-edge surgical technique, was also approved for inclusion in the health card program at the conference.
“The provision of free healthcare to the marginalised section of society is the foremost priority of the government,” CM Punjab said, vowing to add more facilities to the health card panel.
Pervaiz Elahi, the chief minister of Punjab, made the decision to expand the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) health card program earlier in July.
Details indicate that the choice was made during a meeting presided over by Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi.
The Wazirabad Institute of Cardiology’s emergency ward was upgraded with the chief minister’s approval during the meeting. He also gave the go-ahead to resolve the Wazirabad Institute’s staffing and doctor shortfall.
