The fourth domestic airline, Pakistan’s low-cost carrier Fly Jinnah, has begun operations.
On Monday afternoon, the first aircraft from Karachi to Islamabad departed. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) gave a water salute as the plane landed at Islamabad International Airport, and a cake was cut in the Jinnah Terminal lounge as it departed.

Fly Jinnah COO Arman Yahya stated that the airline is approaching the milestone of beginning flight operations thanks to modern technology. He claimed that because it offers passengers a convenient and comfortable method of air travel, the airline will play a significant role in the aviation industry. He also said that there would be no compromising on safety and that the operations will begin with three Airbus A320 aircraft.
Domestic flights will begin operating in the first year, according to the COO, while international flights will begin operating in the second year. According to him, Fly Jinnah will run four flights a week to Quetta in addition to daily flights from Karachi to Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar.
Additionally, he added that flights would also stop at local airports, including the one in Skardu.
The journey was deemed enjoyable and comfortable by actors Behroz Sabzwari, Muneeb Butt, and Aiman Khan, as well as singer Faakhir Mehmood and other travelers. They also sent wishes to the airline.
The airline’s management is confident that it will provide passengers with value-added products and services to offer convenient and comfortable means of air travel. They said that they are committed to working with partners to effectively meet the needs of the Pakistani market and to contribute to the tourism sector by providing the best travel facilities in the country.
The airline was given permission to begin domestic flight operations earlier this month after obtaining an air operator certificate and an air operating licence from the CAA.
All of the airline’s planes have in-flight entertainment systems, and customers can purchase inexpensive hot meals and drinks from the in-flight Sky Café.
In September 2021, Lakson Group and Air Arabia Group announced the creation of the airline. Its headquarters are now located in Karachi.
