Ahsan Iqbal, the minister of planning and development, opened the governance innovation lab in Islamabad with the goal of fostering effective and open government through citizen participation.
Speaking at the event, he claimed that this laboratory is the first of its kind and that it will seek to implement technology and enhance service in government agencies.
Ahsan Iqbal provided assurance that it would also come up with solutions to significant issues, including as the economy.
The Minister declared that the government supports taking concrete steps to combat corruption and promote transparency. He claimed that we had zero tolerance for corruption during our previous term in office. He noted that the PTI era saw an increase in Pakistan’s corruption index.
