President Dr. Arif Alvi has committed to keep working until all signs of terrorism have been eliminated. The President declared that the entire country is united in the fight against terrorism in a statement condemning the suicide bombing in North Waziristan’s Miranshah district.
He expressed sympathy to the grieving families of the martyrs who had died in the incident and wished for the injured to heal quickly. The country’s security forces and the general public have been praised by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their contributions to the fight against terrorism.
The Prime Minister stated terrorists are playing into the hands of our enemies who want to destabilise Pakistan in a statement strongly condemning the suicide bombing that occurred on Thursday in the North Waziristan district of Miranshah.
Shehbaz Sharif pledged to hold these criminals accountable for bleeding Pakistani citizens’ blood. He shared his sorrow and grief with the bereaved family for the martyrdom of one security member and one civilian. He paid homage to the martyrs for giving their life to protect the nation.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb strongly condemned the North Waziristan suicide attack and declared that such cowardly deeds cannot weaken our determination.
She stated in a statement today that the struggle against terrorism will go on until the threat is entirely eradicated. The Minister added that the entire nation stands by its security forces and that the sacrifices made will not be in vain as he expressed his great sorrow over the martyrdom of Havaldar Muhammad Amir and a civilian.
