Junaid Safdar to settle in Pakistan to assist Maryam Nawaz in politics

Junaid Safdar, the son of Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan and make a permanent home there. Maryam Nawaz will return to Pakistan in two weeks, and her son Junaid and his wife Ayesha Saif will fly into Pakistan on Friday from Doha, according to sources.

On Wednesday afternoon, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz departed from London for Geneva, where they would spend a week. During their three-week trip to Europe in October and November, Junaid Safdar traveled with his mother and grandfather. As Maryam and Nawaz Sharif arrived in Geneva, Junaid and his wife Ayesha were getting ready to fly out of Doha, Qatar, for Pakistan.

Ayesha Saif’s home is where the pair stayed when they arrived in Doha a week ago. A source confirmed that the couple would be shifting to Pakistan permanently to assist Maryam Nawaz in her political activities.

A graduate of Cambridge University, Junaid Safdar holds two master’s degrees and two bachelor’s degrees from UK institutions. He enjoys playing polo and has excelled in matches for British universities.

After her trip to Geneva, Maryam is anticipated to come back to her home nation in roughly a week. Nawaz Sharif’s return, however, has not yet been decided. According to sources, plans are in motion for the PML-N leader’s return to Pakistan in a few months.

It should be emphasized that Maryam is likely to command attention given her recent selection as the PML-senior N’s vice president and chief organizer.

She was earlier holding the office of PML-N’s vice president before the promotion and has been highly active in running the party’s election campaigns and holding public gatherings in different cities. The couple reached Doha a week ago and stayed at Ayesha Saif’s house.
