Syed Sardar Ali Shah, the minister of education for Sindh, made a crucial move to improve the effectiveness of the monitoring system for teachers’ attendance in Sindh.

For the government teachers hired at Sindh’s public schools, Sardar Ali Shah issued instructions to improve the attendance monitoring system. He also added that attendance should be tracked via a mobile app.

The monitoring system pilot project has begun in seven districts at the command of the education minister. According to Sardar Ali Shah, “With this monitoring tool, it will be possible to precisely track the attendance of teachers.”

He continued, “The initiative would be launched in Hyderabad, Matiari, Jamshoro, Dadu, Umarkot, and Kashmore in the first phase.

The Sindh government began making plans to pay newly hired teachers’ wages a few days ago. They also asked district education officers throughout the state for accurate documents.

The records of the instructors were requested from all district officials by the Accountant General of Sindh in a letter to the Sindh education department. The provincial government opted to pay the newly hired teachers’ salary.

The concerned officers were given instructions by the accountant general to submit the new instructors’ paperwork, including their joining reports. 53,000 people took the teacher recruitment exams in 2021, and the hiring process was finished in 2022.
