Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has said the people and the government of Pakistan acknowledge the active contribution of China to the relief and rehabilitation efforts during the recent floods in the country.
The Chairman Senate stated this at a farewell dinner in Islamabad in honor of the departing Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong.
He stated that the two friendly nations’ relations are based on mutual respect and trust and that China has stayed with Pakistan during all of its trying times. He claimed that China is giving the people of Pakistan the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project as a present.
At the time, the outgoing Chinese ambassador Nong Rong commended the Senate Chairman’s remarks and expressed how delighted her country and people were by their enduring friendship with Pakistan.
He said that China will continue to cooperate in the development of Pakistan and both countries will continue to support each other’s position at regional and global forums.
