Just days after accepting the resignations of 34 PTI members, National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf accepted the resignations of an additional 35 PTI MNAs on Friday.
After Imran Khan, the PTI’s leader, was ousted from office in April of last year, the PTI resigned in large numbers from the lower house of parliament. The NA speaker then said that just 11 of the resignations had been accepted and that the other MPs will be called in separately for verification.
The lawmakers whose resignations have been accepted are:
