The Pakistani Diaspora has been urged by President Dr. Arif Alvi to work to promote the country’s cultural and social values as well as Pakistan’s position on crucial issues.
He was speaking to a group of two Pakistani NGOs with offices in North America today in Islamabad.
The President asked them to draw attention to the atrocities and victimization committed by the Indian Occupation Forces in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir as well as Pakistan’s efforts to host more than 40 million Afghan refugees for 40 years.
The President suggested during the conference that the Pakistani Diaspora’s advocacy groups employ electronic tools and IT-based interventions to promote Pakistan’s point of view on domestic, regional, and global issues.
The President called upon the Pakistani Diaspora to pay back to the country by transferring their intellect, knowledge, and expertise for accelerated progress and development of the home country.
