Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has assured full support to the IT Industry in resolving its concerns.
Syed Amin-ul-Haque, the minister for information technology and telecommunications, co-chaired a meeting in Islamabad. He mentioned the industry’s pledge to the prime minister to increase IT export remittances to Pakistan quickly.
The status of the instructions given by the Prime Minister to promote IT exports during the meeting on January 5, 2023, was evaluated.
The Finance Minister has processed improvements from IT industry representatives for resolving urgent problems.
The sector acknowledged the focus that the Prime Minister and Finance Minister provided to the IT sector and appreciated the State Bank of Pakistan’s and Federal Board of Revenue’s efforts to support it.
