In today’s 29th game of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), 2023 against Dhaka Dominators, Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf bowled a costly spell for his team Rangpur Riders.
In the last over of the opening innings, Usman Ghani of Afghanistan went ballistic against Haris. The right-handed batsman finished the final over for 18 runs by smashing Haris for a boundary and two back-to-back maximums.
Usman scored 73 runs while remaining unbeaten, including seven boundaries and three maximums.
Haris, who was unpitched, conceded 49 runs in his four overs. Dominators scored 144-5 in 20 overs thanks to Usman’s strong knock.
Haris has taken six wickets thus far in five games.
