Shahid Afridi, a former all-rounder, responded positively to Karachi Kings’ impressive comeback in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Sunday following their 67-run victory over the Lahore Qalandars.
On Karachi’s first win of the season, Afridi said Imad Wasim’s team has bounced back in good fashion. He remarked, “This win was incredibly significant for them, and they performed great to come back.”
“Lahore is a good team; victory against them will undoubtedly increase Karachi’s confidence,” the former captain of Pakistan stated.
Following Karachi’s win, the former Pakistan captain also visited with the team’s players. The team’s Twitter account posted images of his interaction with the player.
Being given the chance to bat first, Karachi Kings set a challenging 186-run total, which they successfully defended by removing Lahore Qalandars for 118 runs in 17.3 overs.
