Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced to raise the salaries of its employees by 10 percent. After the federal government’s statement, the board of the national airline approved the increase.
According to sources, there was a chance that, after the salary increase, retiree pensions may also rise.

As the total losses exceed Rs400 billion, the fund has ordered the federal government to develop a plan to reduce the losses being experienced by the PIA.
