At Gambat in the Khairpur district, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday launched the nation’s first Health City and Medical Unit as well as Pakistan’s first Lung Transplant Unit.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that the Sindh government has constructed a world-class medical infrastructure, which is far ahead of other provinces, while speaking at the inauguration ceremony of new projects at Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jilani Institute of Medical Science, Gambat.

He asserted that Gambat Institute is a truly national institution, welcoming free-of-charge patients from neighboring provinces as well as Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that the people wouldn’t have to go to India for expensive treatment of kidney and liver because the treatment is now available in Gambat.

According to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, if political parties were given room to operate and competition was based on the politics of delivery, philosophy, and agenda rather than the politics of hatred, division, and abuse, it would be beneficial for the nation and the country. Every generation has been played with here by a powerful class.

He cited historical examples to support his claims that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto will transform Pakistan into a global power and that the country was at the forefront of the international community at the time.

He claimed that during Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s tenure as Prime Minister, not only did the Presidents and Prime Ministers of other countries follow the Pakistani Premier, but also individuals like Hillary Clinton lined up to catch a look of her.

President Asif Ali Zardari, according to the PPP chairman, is the nation’s most powerful civilian leader, although he has delegated all of his authority to the Parliament.
