According to local media sources on Thursday, a Pakistani Police Executive Board meeting recently resolved to include olive green scarves in the official uniforms of their female officers. In addition, the IGP Admin Punjab released a letter regarding the adjustments.
According to the letter released by the IGP Admin, a study was done among female troops wearing a scarf with their uniform, with the results indicating that olive green, black, or blue colours would be the most appropriate. The IG Punjab directed that scarves be provided to female personnel by the logistical section.
Previously, the IGP Punjab stated that the recruitment quota for women in the police force would be increased by 25%, and the posting quota for female SHOs would be increased district-wide.
