EX PM Imran Khan Says Ready for Simultaneous Elections if Assemblies Dissolve Tomorrow

Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan of Pakistan has said that they are ready for simultaneous elections if the government dissolves the assembly tomorrow.

Addressing PTI’s Labor Day public rally in Lahore, Imran Khan announced that his political party is ready for simultaneous elections if the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government dissolves the assembly tomorrow.

The government should confirm the dissolution of the assembly by May 14 in the next round of negotiations. We are ready for elections on the same day if the assembly is dissolved tomorrow.

Khan criticized the ruling parties and said they will hold polls only after they see an opportunity to win and remove Imran Khan from their path. “They want to imprison or kill Imran Khan. They attacked Pervaiz Elahi’s house like dacoits after they attacked my home and arrested PTI workers.

“Ali Amin Gandapur is being shifted to different jails and my security officer Iftikhar Ghumman has also been arrested. They are arresting PTI workers to weaken our political party.

The PTI chief announced that they will take to the streets if anyone tries to violate the constitution and go against the Supreme Court (SC). We will not be silent if someone goes against the Constitution.

Khan promised that PTI will stand behind the constitution if the rulers try to run away from the elections and violate the constitution. We have always held peaceful protests because of the deteriorating economic situation. If they violate the constitution, then Pakistan will be the law of the jungle.

This country is headed for destruction and unemployment is increasing every day. If they reject the decision of the Supreme Court, the nation will come out of their homes with me.

Imran Khan said that PTI is organizing the rally to show solidarity with the workers and for the rule of law. Everything will become clear in the next week whether there is a rule of law in this country or not. PTI will stand by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP).
