In Malaysia, BMW Motorrad has introduced the CE04 electric scooter. The CE04 debuted at the 2023 Malaysia Autoshow with a futuristic and crisp appearance, intriguing features, and a steep price tag.
The large scooter is powered by a frame-mounted electric motor and belt drive, producing 42 horsepower and 62 Newton meters of torque. Its 8.9 kWh lithium-ion battery provides a driving range of 130 km on a single charge.
BMW Motorrad states that the CE04 has a top speed of 120 km/h and a zero-to-50 km/h time of 2.6 seconds, which is quite swift.
The electric scooter has three ride modes — Eco, Rain, and Road — while a fourth, Dynamic mode, is an optional extra. The BMW Motorrad Connected App powers a 10.25-inch TFT color display with Integrated Map Navigation, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle status, and statistics.
