The construction of 6500 houses to rehouse the affected residents of three Nullahs in the Malir Development Authority region received clearance from the Sindh Cabinet at its meeting in Karachi, which was presided over by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah.
During the meeting, it was revealed that 6500 houses will be built for the affected people at a cost of 9.42 billion rupees.
Speaking to the group, Murad Ali Shah stated that his government is committed to helping those who have been affected by the flood and encroachments removal.
He said that specific actions are being made to reduce poverty.
