Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, launched and laid the groundwork for many development projects in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Wednesday.
The Seventh Avenue overhead bridge on the Srinagar Highway was opened by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The project was finished in 12 months.
The Seventh Avenue overhead bridge has four loops, and the subway is 615 meters long. The bridge connects Sectors G-7 and G-6, adding to the scenic charm of the Srinagar Highway.
Later, the premier attended the reopening of the repaired IJP Road as well as the groundbreaking of 11th Avenue.
PM Shehbaz Sharif was also given a full briefing on the development projects on the occasion.
PM Shehbaz had already opened the Sabzazar Sports Complex in Lahore. The Sabzazar Sports Complex is the first of 14 sports facilities planned during Shehbaz’s tenure as Chief Minister of Punjab.
Sabzazar inhabitants will be given free admission to the sports complex, and bright students would also be offered free membership.
The prime minister inspected different sections of the sports complex and interacted with young athletes and school children. Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqavi was also present on the occasion.
