Gold prices dropped in the domestic market on Saturday after rising for two days in a row.
According to figures from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of a tola of gold fell by Rs1,700 to Rs221,700, while the price of a gramme of 24-carat gold fell by Rs1,458 to Rs190,072.
On the international market, the precious metal lost $7 to settle at $1,958 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained constant at Rs2,650 per tola and Rs2,271.94 per gramme.
