President Dr. Arif Alvi has returned home from Hajj.
President Alvi returned to Pakistan this morning after spending a number of days in Saudi Arabia, where he also conducted the holy pilgrimage.
The president has accepted his responsibilities. On June 25, he left for Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
Along with the president, the first lady and their children performed Hajj.
President Alvi and his family spent the last several days of their stay at the Islamic Museum in Madina, which is adjacent to the Masjid-e-Nabwi.
Sheikh Dr Nasir Al-Zahrani, chairman of the museum, greeted the president. He was joined by Pakistan’s Consul General Khalid Majeed.
At the museum, President Alvi learned about the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was also briefed on Islamic culture and civilization, and he was fascinated by the Islamic and cultural models on display at the museum.
Moreover, President Alvi also held a meeting with his Bangladeshi counterpart in Mecca, Mina and Madina, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
