Ayesha Naseem, a Pakistani all-rounder, announced her retirement from international cricket at the age of 18.
She claims she made this decision to live her life in accordance with Islamic values.
Her decision has been informed to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). “I’m leaving cricket and want to live my life according to Islam,” Naseem explained to the PCB.
In March 2020, Ayesha made her international debut for Pakistan. She took part in four ODIs and four T20Is. In international competitions, she scored 402 runs.
Her fame skyrocketed in January 2023 as she made a brief cameo appearance against Australia. She scored 24 runs on 20 balls, including three sixes and a four.
