WhatsApp, the Meta-owned social messaging app, adds another function for its users, making life easier and eliminating the need to switch between devices to access various accounts.
According to WABetaInfo, the messaging app will now provide its users with a multi-account system that will allow them to connect to many accounts at the same time.
WhatsApp Business beta has been working on the account-switching feature since reports first surfaced in June of this year. However, the feature is now available for some beta testers after the Google Play Store version 2.23.17.8 is updated.
“Tap the arrow icon next to the QR code button (visible on the top-right of the app’s settings screen) to add a new account.” It is also feasible to switch to a different account from the same option. “When you add a new account, it stays on your device until you log out,” WABetaInfo reported.
Users can now maintain all of their discussions in one location, including private conversations, professional letters, and other messages, thanks to this new feature.
“It keeps your conversations and notifications separate, and allows you to switch between accounts without needing different devices or parallel apps,” WABetaInfo explained.
