With the launch of the two-year English Access Micro Scholarship Programme, Government College University (GCU) Hyderabad has created a great chance for students from low-income families.
This educational effort, in conjunction with the US Embassy in Islamabad, aims to empower impoverished youngsters by improving their English language competence.
The programme is open to both male and female candidates aged 13 to 16, and it provides a unique opportunity to acquire language skills necessary for academic and personal growth.
The program’s courses are scheduled from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., allowing students with varying schedules to participate.
Aspiring participants have until August 23 to submit their applications, with interviews for the selection process scheduled on August 28.
The English Access Micro Scholarship Programme teaches individuals English, which can lead to greater job and educational opportunities.
Participants will also be able to compete for and participate in future exchanges and studies in the United States. Since its start in 2004, the Programme has attracted approximately 150,000 students from over 80 countries.
