Additional District and Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar, who found Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan guilty in the Toshakhana case, sentencing him to three-year imprisonment, was placed on special duty as an officer on Friday.
This action followed shortly after Chief Justice Aamer Farooq of the Islamabad High Court remarked that the trial court, responsible for Imran Khan’s conviction in the Toshakhana case, had made an incorrect decision.
