Gold prices fell in the domestic market on Monday, following the pattern in the foreign market.
According to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of a tola of gold fell by Rs700 to Rs239,100, while the price of a gramme of 24-carat gold fell by Rs500 to Rs204,900.
The price of the precious metal jumped by $5 on the international market to settle at $1,940 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable at Rs2,850 per tola and Rs2,443.41 per 10 grammes.
