The ticket sale window for the high-voltage showdown between India and Pakistan has seen increased demand from fans globally as the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup 2023 approaches.
The principal ticket sales outlets were totally sold out in less than an hour on both August 29 and September 3.
What has social media users enraged is that the secondary market for ticket sales has seen a considerable increase in prices.
According to Indian media sources, a South Premium West Bay ticket is presently advertised on an online sports ticket platform for an astounding INR1950,000.
The final two upper-tier tickets with an unobstructed view are being auctioned for an astounding INR5,700,000 each.
Everyone is outraged by the excessive charges, and social media users are putting the vendors to blame.
