Kashmir Solidarity Day is being observed in Pakistan with Public Rallies being initiated across the country to express the Whole Hearted Support for the Struggles of Kashmiri People as they Deserve absolute right to self-determination under United Nations resolutions.
Moreover Prime Minister Imran Khan will address a public gathering at Kotli in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on the following Occasion. President Arif Alvi also addressed a session of the AJK Legislative Assembly in Muzaffarabad earlier.
According to Radio Pakistan, Solidarity walks have also been arranged in Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and in the four provincial capitals and human chains will be formed at Kohala and other important points linking Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
Furthermore Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Arif Alvi addressed their concerns on the Kashmir Issue in their messages on Kashmir Solidarity Day condemning the oppression of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir and called upon the international community to play its part in ensuring that the residents of the region are granted the right to self-determination.
Prime Minister also expressed “unshakable” solidarity with the Kashmiri people and convicted India’s “brutal suppression” of the occupied region, He once again urged the international community to “hold India accountable for its crimes against humanity in IIOJK”.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi paid tribute to the “just struggle of our Kashmiri family” against the Indian forces and said: “No level of blackout and censorship can silence the strong, unflinching resilience of Kashmiris’ in the face of such unspeakable atrocities by the rogue Indian state.”
However Azad Jammu And Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider addressed Islamabad to “sever diplomatic ties with India and pull out of all bilateral treaties to force international community to swing into action”, On Thursday night.
