In Pakistan, the price of petrol has been reduced significantly by Rs 40 per liter.
The new price for petrol is now Rs 283.38 per liter, down from Rs 323.38 per liter. This reduction comes after a previous decrease of Rs 8 per liter on October 1st.
High-speed diesel (HSD) has also seen a price drop of Rs 15 per liter, making it now Rs 303.18 per liter. Kerosene oil prices have been lowered by Rs 22.43 per liter to Rs 214.85.
It’s important to note that just a month ago, there was a substantial increase in petrol and diesel prices, with petrol going up by Rs 26.2 per liter and diesel by Rs 17.34 per liter. This sudden decrease in prices is a relief for the public, as they had experienced a significant increase in fuel costs not too long ago.
