On Thursday, Pakistan sent its first shipment of aid to Gaza as Israel continues its heavy attacks on the region. Israel’s bombings have caused a lot of destruction, with thousands of casualties and millions of people forced from their homes.
The aid from Pakistan, which includes 1,000 winter tents, 4,000 blankets, and 3 tonnes of medicine, will be flown to Palestine through Egypt on a chartered plane.
Pakistan strongly criticized Israel’s actions and called for an immediate ceasefire and the opening of humanitarian corridors for relief supplies. Israel has also agreed to allow relief trucks to cross from Egypt into Gaza, where many people are in urgent need of assistance.
